Getting Away Part 2 - Labour Day Weekend

- I'm creative and am now exploring different types of art and that’s what this blog is for - to make time for some creativity. My company keeps me busy (I'm a bit of a workaholic-lol) I've always been into music which I pursued for awhile - started playing guitar when I was 13 inspired by my metal and punk heroes and played in various bands up until recently. I currently work behind the scenes in radio promotion and publicity. I'm passionate about helping up and coming bands and making a difference. Photography has always been there and I have been taking pictures as long as I can remember but never professionally just for fun. Painting is a new medium that I'm exploring. I took some classes last winter, let’s see what happens! History - I've always loved history and my journey to Europe October 2006 with my husband was unbelievable! To see things I've heard about my whole life right there in front of me was mind blowing. I left with a feeling that I need to go back. I'm also brushing up on my French and trying to learn Italian which would be fun - all that really stuck from my trip is "where is the washroom" "dove il gabinetto" or "the bill please" "il conto per favore" haha.
